I’m sick of people spouting “church and state”

Filed under: Uncategorized — brentriggs @ 1:16 pm

Of course that is one way to view it… many people put such extreme emphasis on this MYTH of the so-called non-existent “separation of Church and State” that has been repeated so many times, people now believe it is ACTUALLY a law, or part of the Constitution, which it is NOT. The real principle instated by our Founding Fathers was that THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT CREATE AND ENFORCE A STATE RELIGION. For the last 60 years this has been twisted to mean that nothing even remotely related to Government or public life shall in any way TOUCH anything that reveals a trust or belief in God. And 60 years later we have the result of that mentality clearly defined in violence, pornography, failing education, government indoctrination in all manners of OTHER religious and anti-American political philosophy… marriage is a joke, sex is the only thing that matters, and even much of Christianity is so soft, fluffy and ineffective as to be hardly recognizable. But, God forbid, that anyone should ever be “forced” to bow their head for a few seconds while someone prays and asks OUR CREATOR (and He is YOUR Creator too, even if you reject Him) to protect us and give us wisdom. You could simply bow your head in respect for others, and pray your own prayer, or not pray at all… but that would RUIN someone as they “prepare for life and college”. However, supposedly, God needs to get the heck out so the socialistic indoctrination, the amoral humanist engineering and the endless array of liberal ideas can “help prepare you for life.” There’s one FACT that no one can escape in all this: the affect on society that has occurred over 60 years of systematically tossing God out of public life and school. You can “church and state” all you want, but it can never change the REALITY of how far our society has plunged academically, morally, socially, intellectually and spiritually as direct result, AND AN OFTEN PREDICTED RESULT. But at least you don’t have to say “one nation under God anymore” and be “forced” to convert to Christianity because of it. We get what we ask for… and we are getting it full force now.

Out of all the books I’ve written, I would say Terrorists to Evangelist has to be right up there with the most fascinating and captivating. It really is a wonderful story.

You can read it online, download a free copy, or by the print version at www.terroristtoevangelist.com

Satan only has the power of us we willingly give him… He is NOT all powerful

Filed under: Uncategorized — brentriggs @ 12:27 pm

No, he is not. He is a created being, very powerful… maybe the most powerful, but not “omni” anything. Satan cannot read your mind in the sense that God can, but he’s obviously good at knowing what you are thinking much in the same a wise person is good at knowing what someone is thinking. His only influence over us is external, putting things in our “way” to appeal to our flesh. But as Believers he has NO control over us that we do not submissively give to him.
